Last night, Montreal snapped a five game losing streak behind a 4-3 win over the San Jose Sharks. Throughout their losing streak they were averaging 1.6 goals per game and were allowing 3.8 goals per game. They enter tonight’s game five points back of the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Los Angeles Kings News & Notes:

On Saturday the Kings snapped a four game skid with a 4-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes. The Kings had also previously lost eight of their last 11. In the recent skid, they are averaging 1.72 goals per game as they’ve been shut out in three of those 11 games, they’ve allowed an average of 2.73 goals per game.
