The Canadiens have lost three games in a row when they face the Flyers in Philadelphia tonight. Montreal holds the second Wild Card spot by one point over the Islanders and Rangers. The Canadiens are 15-16-4 on the road this season. This is the second of three meetings between Montreal and Philadelphia this season; the Canadiens won the first matchup 4-3 on October 27.

Philadelphia will try to snap their six-game losing streak tonight at the Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers are 1-8-1 in their last ten games and are 16-19-1 at home this season. Philadelphia has a -52 goal differential this season and is 8-14-3 when they commit more penalties than their opponents.

After recent statements in the media, the Flyers have decided to part ways with head coach John Tortorella. Brad Shaw will take over coaching duties.

Montreal Canadiens

Nick Suzuki has a four-game point streak with two goals and two assists during the streak. The 25-year-old Center has been hot in March with four goals and nine assists in 11 games this month. Suzuki leads the Canadiens with 73 points, four points shy of his career-high 77 points set a year ago. The London, Ontario native is on pace for 86 points this season.

Philadelphia Flyers

Matvei Michkov has a three-game point streak going into the game tonight. The 20-year-old is second on the Flyers in scoring with 51 points (20g, 31a). Michkov is third in the rookie scoring race, only one point behind Macklin Celebrini (52 points) of the Sharks, and three points behind Calder Trophy front-runner Defenseman Lane Hutson (54 points) of Montreal, whom he’ll face tonight.
