Nashville Predators News & Notes:

Nashville has underperformed this season, no question about it. As they look to move on from players who don’t fit their future, could they also be in the hunt for some of the young talent hitting the market?

Chicago Blackhawks News & Notes:

Connor Bedard took to the media to make his stand against Paul Bissonette and his comments towards Bedard’s play. You can feel the frustration in Bedard on and off the ice this season. As this year gets away from the Blackhawks, Kyle Davidson will need to start adding answers to his roster. A name like Seth Jones has hit trade rumors since the release of the Salary Cap increase; could Chicago get into a ‘hockey trade’ when moving Jones?

Players To Watch:

Nashville Predators

After signing with Nashville in the offseason, Steven Stamkos is having a rough first season with the Predators. He’s seeing a personal drop in production, with only 33 points in 52 games. As the season progresses, I’m looking for Stamkos to find his role on this Predators team and lift his production.

Chicago Blackhawks

Pat Maroon has 11 points and 71 penalty minutes in 47 games this season; a player to watch as the trade deadline approaches. Connor Bedard leads the team in points with 46 in 53 games.

The Edmonton Oilers Right-Side Defense Problem

The Edmonton Oilers are built to win now, but there’s one flaw that keeps showing up: their blue line is unbalanced.
