New York Islanders News & Notes: 

The Islanders snapped their three-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers on Sunday. New York is 14-15-5 on the road this season and 5-4-1 in their last ten games. This is the final meeting between these teams this season. The Islanders won the first two contests, and Pittsburgh won the last game 3-2 on December 29.
