New York Rangers News & Notes:

The Rangers are 1-4 in their last five games, which is not ideal when pushing to get into the playoffs. General Manager Chris Drury wasn’t shy at the deadline and made plenty of moves, including bringing in Carson Soucy. Following the Blue Jackets game, the Rangers will face Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, and Vancouver on a four-game homestand that could determine their playoff fates.

Columbus Blue Jackets News & Notes:

Columbus has been dealing with a plethora of injury issues all season long, and it’s not slowing down. With all those injuries, they’ve managed to stay above water and in the playoff hunt. They’re currently in the second Wild Card position, tied with the Rangers, but have one less game played.

Players To Watch:

New York Rangers

Chris Kreider was a name mentioned leading into the trade deadline but wasn’t moved. Since then, he’s only scored one goal. He has four goals and one assist in his last ten games.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Zach Werenski leads the team in points and is hot in the Norris conversation, along with, you guessed it, Cale Makar. Werenski has 20 goals and 49 assists, along with a +11 and 112 blocked shots. He is the horse of the Blue Jackets blueline.

Edmonton Oilers Playoff Thoughts: Round 2, Game 4

Corey Perry held a Mother’s Day event for all of his Edmonton Oilers teammates yesterday. I’m sure all the mothers liked that better than the last-second present they got the night before. The Edmonton Oilers are still up 2-1 in the series, and they were due for a loss after six straight wins. It’s how […]

3 Takeaways From The Florida Panthers & Toronto Maple Leafs Game 3 | 05/09/2025

Everything that could’ve gone wrong in Toronto did go wrong. Every fluke bounce went for the Leafs, Florida’s defense not doing as good of a job as it could, Bob letting in goals that fans know he could stop, and officiating that could be called questionable at best. Both games up north were winnable for […]
