The Rangers got back in the win column with a big 3-2 overtime win over the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night. The Rangers saw the return of Igor Shesterkin who turned aside 21 of the 23 shots he faced. They are now 4-5-1 in their last ten and are four points out of the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Vegas Golden Knights News & Notes:

The Golden Knights saw their three-game win streak snapped on Thursday in a 4-0 loss to the New York Islanders. They are now 8-2-0 in their last ten and still hold a six-point lead for first place in the Pacific Division over the Edmonton Oilers. Following being shutout on Thursday it was the third time they’ve been shutout this season while averaging 3.46 goals per game this season.
