The Rangers saw the return of Igor Shesterkin who turned aside 21 of the 23 shots he faced. They are now 4-5-1 in their last ten and are four points out of the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Golden Knights saw their three-game win streak snapped on Thursday in a 4-0 loss to the New York Islanders.
