The Senators suffered their third loss in the last four games on Tuesday in a 3-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. They dropped to 8-3-1 in March, averaging 4.3 goals per game while allowing 3.8 goals per game. Dylan Cozens, since being acquired by Ottawa, has eight points in nine games on three goals and five assists. He is also on a four-game point streak.

The Red Wings suffered a 5-2 loss on Tuesday to the Colorado Avalanche. They have had another rough March, going 3-9-0, averaging 2.7 goals per game while allowing 3.4 goals per game. Austin Watson has goals in back-to-back games for the Red Wings.
