Ottawa – Tim Stutzle scored two goals in the season-opening victory over the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers. Shane Pinto scored in the opener as well and Linus Ullmark made 31 saves in his Senators’ debut.
Montreal Canadiens – Brendan Gallagher scored two goals against Boston on Thursday night and Cole Caulfield has scored in each of the first two games for Montreal. Montembeault is back in the net tonight after his 48-save shutout against Toronto.
