Ottawa Senators News & Notes:

The Senators have lost four straight games and have fallen back in the chase for a playoff spot in the very congested Eastern Conference. Ottawa had a players-only meeting to try to clear the air and get on the same page moving forward. The Senators have a 9-11-2 road record, and they’ll travel to Pittsburgh to try to get back on track. Ottawa won the first of the three meetings between these clubs on December 14, 3-2.

Pittsburgh Penguins News & Notes:

The Penguins just snapped a four-game skid of their own with a 5-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. Depending on what happens around the NHL this afternoon and tonight,t the Penguins could move into playoff position with a win. This is a big game for both teams as they battle for playoff positioning.
