The Flyers lost a spirited effort on Tuesday night in Edmonton 4-3 in overtime. Flyers rookie Matvei Michkov scored 2 goals and even had 2 blocked shots. 12 Flyers had blocks on the night. Philadelphia kept McDavid and Draisaitl quiet for most of the game until the stars combined to tie the game and then Draisaitl won it in OT. 

Seattle Kraken Notes:

Seattle scored 4 straight third-period goals to defeat Nashville 7-3 on Tuesday night. 12 Kraken had points in the win, led by Oliver Bjorkstrand, Jared McCann, Jaden Schwartz, and Adam Larson who each had a goal and an assist. Joey Daccord made 30 saves for the win.

Philadelphia – Matvei Michkov’s hype train has kicked into full gear, the Flyers rookie had 2 goals against the Edmonton Oilers in his last game and seems ready to fulfill all the promise surrounding him when he was drafted with the 7th pick overall in the 2023 NHL Draft. 

Seattle – Free Agent defenseman Brandon Montour has proved to be a valuable addition to the Kraken, averaging over 23 minutes of time on ice per game. Montour has 2 assists in 4 games this season and seems to have settled in nicely with defense partner Jamie Oleksiak. The pair is a combined +8 through the first 4 games.
