San Jose Sharks Notes:

The Sharks are still searching for their first win of the season. San Jose lost the earlier matchup against the Ducks 2-0 in San Jose. The Sharks have been without number 1 overall draft pick Macklin Celebrini since he was injured in the home opener. General Manager Mike Grier gave an update on the young phenom on Monday and said the Celebrini will miss at least two more weeks as he recovers from a lower-body injury.

Anaheim Ducks Notes:

The Ducks lost the first Freeway Face-Off of the 2024-25 season to their rival, the LA Kings 4-1 on Sunday night. The Ducks couldn’t get their offense going until late in the 3rd when Ryan Strome scored but Los Angeles iced the game with two empty-netters to close out the victory.
