The Sharks picked up their first win since January 27th with a 3-2 shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Tyler Toffoli and Jack Thompson had the goals. Fabian Zetterlund had the shootout winner. Alexander Georgiev stopped 25 of the 27 shots he faced.

Buffalo Sabres News & Notes:

The Sabres dropped their third straight last night as they lost to the Montreal Canadiens 4-3 in overtime. In the recent three game stretch they’ve allowed an average of 4.33 goals per game with averaging 2.33 goals per game.
