San Jose Sharks Notes:

The Sharks, unfortunately, became the first team ever to lose nine straight games to start a season in back-to-back years. Coach Warsofsky on the dubious milestone, “It’s embarrassing. Truly embarrassing.” The Sharks do have some young talent to be excited about, but it’s going to take time.

Utah Hockey Club Notes:

Utah has been struggling recently, losing four of its last five games. Goal scoring has become an issue in its last three games, with only three goals total during that span.

Players To Watch:

San Jose – Mikael Granlund has goals (4) in 3 straight games and has a 6-game point streak for the Sharks. He has 3 multi-point games during his streak.

Utah – Dylan Guenther started quickly for Utah but has cooled of late. Guenther had 5 goals in his first 3 games but no goals and only 2 assists in the 6 games since.
