The Kraken went 5-1-0 on their recent six-game homestand, and now begin a road trip in Los Angeles tonight against the Kings. Vince Dunn has traveled with the team in order to get more practice time as he works his way back from injury. Captain Jordan Eberle underwent successful surgery yesterday on his pelvis and his timeline to return is a minimum of three months.

Los Angeles Kings News & Notes:

The Kings have lost three of their last four games and were shut out for the first time this season Wednesday night against the Buffalo Sabres. The Los Angeles power play has dipped to 29 out of 32 teams. The Kings haven’t had a power play goal since November 9.

Seattle Kraken

Free Agent acquisition Chandler Stephenson has been an excellent addition to the Kraken providing stability to the center position. Stephenson has 13 points (1g, 12a) in 20 games, Stephenson hasn’t scored a goal since October 19 in a 2-1 overtime win over the Calgary Flames.

Los Angeles Kings

Adrian Kempe is second on the Kings in scoring with 18 points (9g, 9a) in twenty games. Before being shut out 1-0 by the Sabres on Wednesday night, Kempe had back-to-back two-goal games. The 28-year-old winger is tied with Alex Laferriere for the team lead in goals.
