Seattle Kraken Notes:
Seattle dropped their home opener 3-2 to the St. Louis Blues at Climate Pledge Arena. Coach Dan Bylsma has reshuffled the lines with Matty Beniers and Shane Wright switching spots on the 1st and 2nd lines. Bylsma would like to see more of a shot mentality than overpassing which plagued the team in the loss to St. Louis.
Minnesota Wild Notes:
Minnesota looks to continue their momentum at home after a 3-2 victory against Colombus in the opener. The Wild are 6-3-0 all-time against the Kraken, 2-2-0 at the Xcel Energy Center. Seattle defeated the Wild 4-3 in the final game of the 2023-24 regular season.

Players To Watch:
Seattle – Shane Wright has been brought along slowly by the Kraken but has been given more responsibility this season. The young pivot will be relied upon to generate offense for a Seattle squad that struggled to score goals a year ago.
Minnesota – Karil Kaprisov has been dynamic against the Kraken with four goals and seven assists in 8 career games against the Kraken.
