Players To Watch:

Seattle Kraken

Kaapo Kakko has found a home in Seattle. Kakko was acquired by the Kraken in a trade with the Rangers for Will Borgen, a 3rd-round pick, and a 5th-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. Since being acquired by the Kraken, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft has been excellent with 22 points (6g, 16a) in 31 games.

Washington Capitals

To say Aliaksei Protas has had a breakout season would be an understatement, the 24-year-old center from Belarus has been spectacular. Last season with the Capitals Protas set career highs in goals (6), assists (23), and points (29), this season Protas has 25 goals, 29 assists, and 54 points with 19 games still remaining. The 6-foot-6 forward has taken his game to another level.
