Players To Watch:

Tampa Bay Lightning

Nikita Kucherov is riding a nine-game point streak into this afternoon’s contest. Kucherov had four goals and seven assists in seven February games. The 31-year-old winger is unbelievably consistent with points in 20 of his last 21 games with eight multi-point games over that stretch. The native of Maikop, Russia is third in the NHL scoring race with 86 points (27g, 59a) on the season.

Washington Capitals

Dylan Strome had his nine-game point streak snapped in the Caps last game, a 5-2 loss against St. Louis. The 27-year-old Center has found a home in Washington in the last 2+ years Strome has put together 3 of his best seasons. His third season in Washington is still underway and the Mississauga, Ontario native is on pace for 82 points which would be a career-high. No one can replace Nic Backstrom but Strome has filled in admirably in his absence.
