Toronto Maple Leafs News & Notes:

The Maple Leafs made two significant additions to their roster in Scott Laughton and Brandon Carlo. Especially surprising with the Boston Bruins doing the Maple Leafs a favor. Toronto now has the center depth and defensive depth to take a deep run at the Stanley Cup Final. Now that Boston has taken themselves out of the running, Toronto’s focus will turn to the Florida Panthers, who added Brad Marchand at the deadline.

Colorado Avalanche News & Notes:

Colorado significantly improved at the Trade Deadline when adding Charlie Coyle, Brock Nelson, Erik Johnson, Ryan Lindgren, and Jimmy Vesey. The Avalanche are arguably the most improved team in the league after the deadline. Albeit, Mikko Rantanen was traded earlier this season. In a competitive Central Division, the playoff push will be entertaining.

Brandon Carlo and Scott Laughton could be making their debuts with the Leafs tonight. Max Domi will see a bump in production with the addition of Laughton and will be someone to watch down the stretch.
