The Maple Leafs take a 2-0 series lead to Florida for Game 3. This is the first time since 1963 that the Leafs have taken 2-0 series leads in two different playoff series. Toronto is two wins away from their first Eastern Conference Final since 2002. The Leafs lost both games in Sunrise during the regular season by scores of 5-1 and 3-1.

Florida Panthers News & Notes:

The Panthers are down two games to none in a playoff series for the first time since the 2023 Stanley Cup Final against the Vegas Golden Knights. The defending Stanley Cup champions are 1-1 at home this postseason. Florida has been carried by their third line who have a combined plus-23 rating.
