Toronto Maple Leafs News & Notes:

The Maple Leafs have ridden a four-game winning streak to the top of the Atlantic Division. Toronto is four points up on second-place Florida, although the Panthers have a game in hand. The Leafs are 7-3-0 in their last ten games and have a respectable 9-6-2 record away from home. Toronto won the previous meeting between these clubs on Sunday, with Morgan Reilly scoring the game-winner in overtime.

Philadelphia Flyers News & Notes:

The Flyers have lost two in a row and are only 3-6-1 in their last ten games, and things don’t get any easier with a hot Maple Leafs squad coming to town. Philadelphia played the Leafs tough on Sunday, picking up a point in the OT loss. The Flyers have been average at home this season, going 8-9-1, but will need to start grabbing some more home wins if they want to climb back into playoff contention.

Opinion: Stars’ Mikko Rantanen Returns to Form At the Right Time

It was clear that Mikko Rantanen was not exactly about being traded by the Colorado Avalanche, the only NHL club he had ever known. It was in Colorado where he spent close to 11 seasons, won a Stanley Cup in 2022, had 681 points (287 goals and 394 assists), and made lifelong friends. That is […]
