The Maple Leafs had their five-game winning streak snapped on Monday in a 3-2 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks. Despite the loss they are still on a six-game point streak. They enter tonight tied with the Florida Panthers for first place in the Atlantic Division. Auston Matthews is on a ten-game point streak, he’s recorded 14 points in that span on two goals and 12 assists.

Vegas Golden Knights News & Notes:

The Golden Knights picked up their second straight win on Sunday with a 2-0 win over the New Jersey Devils. They’ve now won five of their last six averaging 3.50 goals per game while allowing 2.50 goals per game. Noah Hanifin is on a three-game point streak recording five points on a goal and four assists.
