Players To Watch:

Toronto – Auston Matthews led all NHL goal scorers with 69 last season. The reigning Rocket Richard Trophy winner is looking to become the first player to get 70 goals in a season since the 92-93 season when Teemu Selanne and Alexander Mogilny each had 76 goals.

Montreal – Juraj Slavkovsky is poised to build on a strong 23-24 season which saw the young star score 20 goals with 30 assists. The big Slovakian winger signed an 8-year, $60.8 million dollar contract extension on the first day he was eligible. Slavkovsky was the first overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
