Tempe, AZ – The Toronto Maple Leafs are on a 4 game winning streak and haven’t lost since the game that landed Morgan Rielly with a 5 game suspension. Tonight is the last game the team will be without Rielly. The Coyotes are a different story as they are currently on a 10 game winless streak. We will have to see if both streaks continue or are broken tonight.

Last Meeting:
The Leafs and Coyotes faced off against each other last December 29, 2022 in a game where the Coyotes came out on top with a 6-3 victory. The Coyotes have won the last 4 matchups against the Leafs and will look to make that 5 tonight while the Leafs look to play a full game and extend their winning streak.
LEAFS QUICK LOOK (30-16-8)
3rd in the Atlantic, 10th in the NHL
Leafs to Keep an Eye on:
- Auston Matthews is back in his hometown playing against the Coyotes tonight and has a chance to reach the 50 goal mark in just 54 games played this season. He will look to have a strong game on both sides of the puck.
- Matthew Knies is also returning to his home state of Arizona tonight and has upwards of 50 friends and family at the game tonight. Tonight is Knies’ first game in Arizona so he will look to play a strong game in front of friends and family.
- TJ Brodie has looked a lot better defensively the past 4 games with the Leafs after struggling for the first half of the season. This solid play started when Rielly served the first game of his suspension, moving Brodie to the left side. It’s too soon to know if the Leafs will be able to keep Brodie on the left, but he will look to have another solid game tonight.
