LEAFS QUICK LOOK (41-22-9)

Leafs to Keep an Eye on:
- Ilya Samsonov gets the start tonight after leaving last Saturday’s game with a minor muscle injury. Samsonov has been solid these past few months since coming back from being waived and will need to be solid again tonight likely battling against Luukkonen.
- TJ Brodie has had a down year across the board, and spent a couple games watching from the press box but with injuries on the back end he is playing a key role on the blue line once again. Look for Brodie to make quick and smart decisions and limit his mistakes as he looks to replicate some of what has brought him success in the past.
- Simon Benoit has been a success story and has become a fan favourite after being unqualified by his former team last summer. Benoit has shown that he belongs in the NHL and was rewarded with a contract extension for the next 3 seasons. Look for Benoit to keep playing the same way tonight as he defends.
