Tampa Bay, FL – The Toronto Maple Leafs are facing off against the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight in their last game of the season. This season has had its fair share of ups and downs, but ultimately the Leafs have come to the end of the season with over 100 points and another spot in the playoffs. The Leafs will look to come out of tonight’s game healthy as they look to start their playoff journey with as many bodies as possible.

HEAD-TO-HEAD
Last Meeting:
The Leafs and Lightning last played on April 3rd, in a 4-1 victory for the Lightning. Kucherov will look to have a solid game tonight as he is in pursuit of his 100th assist, while the Leafs will look to tune up their defensive game and stop him while bringing some offensive results of their own.

Leafs to Keep an Eye on:
- Auston Matthews hasn’t been confirmed to play in tonight’s game as of yet, but with a limited amount of healthy forwards, it looks like Matthews will have a chance to suit up tonight for one last chance at scoring his 70th goal of the season. Matthews has been dominant both offensively and defensively and will look to carry the momentum he has had this season into playoff results.
- William Nylander is another Leaf who is on the verge of a milestone as he has had a career year. Nylander is the only Leaf who has played in every game so far this season, and should he play tonight he has a chance at 100 points on the season. Nylander is tied at his career high in goals at 40 but has hit 97 points through 81 games this season. While a 3-point night may not be likely, the Swedish forward has had multiple this season and ultimately will try to finish his regular season strong tonight.
- Tyler Bertuzzi has also had an up-and-down season this year but showed what he can bring to the team in the second half of the season. Bertuzzi was brought in for his offense and the grit he can bring in the playoffs, so look for Bertuzzi to start looking more and more noticeable. Bertuzzi isn’t afraid to stick up for his teammates but also brings a great level of playmaking ability. Bertuzzi is on a one-year prove-it deal and will look to finish strong and have a strong playoff campaign as he looks to earn his next contract.
