Leafs to Keep an Eye on:

  • Joseph Woll hasn’t looked the same since returning from his injury but is projected to get the start tonight. The Leafs will need their goaltenders to be on their game by the playoffs so Woll will look to get back to the steady goaltending we saw from him earlier this season.
  • Ryan Reaves is drawing back into the lineup tonight on the fourth line. Reaves has been rotating in and out of the lineup and will look to stay engaged in the play both on and off of the puck tonight. Reaves will need to do more than just throw hits to stay in the lineup more consistently.
  • Jake McCabe has been a solid defender for the Leafs this season and has been the definition of versatile. McCabe has been given more responsibility as of late and has been responding well. He will look to continue to play well defensively while also breaking the puck out of the Leafs end effectively.

When it comes to Edmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner, one never knows what they are going to get. On one hand, one might see a version of Skinner, 26, who stands tall, comes up with big saves, does not get out of position, and does not allow soft goals. When this version of Skinner is […]
