Utah Hockey Club News & Notes:

Utah’s playoff hopes are gone at this point. While the new ownership and franchise had high hopes for this season, they’ve fallen short of the playoff goal. For Utah, injuries played a major role in their season. With all the additions to the roster, ownership has a mandate: we want playoffs. I expect Utah to get aggressive in the offseason to make even more upgrades.

Chicago Blackhawks News & Notes:

Chicago is 4-10 in March, assisting their position in the standings at 31st with 51 points. They currently have the second-best draft odds, with the San Jose Sharks two points below them, but with two games in hand. If the Sharks pick up several points down the stretch, the Blackhawks could land in the #1 draft odds.
