Utah had their two-game winning streak snapped with a 5-4 shootout loss to Minnesota on Sunday. The Hockey club is 8-6-2 on the road this season and is 5-3-2 in their last ten games. 

Colorado Avalanche News & Notes: 

The Avalanche made a trade for goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood from the SanJose Sharks recently. Head Coach Jared Bednar hopes they’ve found a long-term solution in net with Blackwood. The Avalanche return home to face the Hockey Club tonight after a five-game road trip in which the Avalanche went 4-1-0. The Avalanche are 7-7-0 at home this season. Colorado won the previous matchup between these two teams 5-1 on October 24 in Utah.

Clayton Keller has a three-game point streak, including two goals in his last game against the Wild. The 26-year-old winger leads Utah in scoring with 26 points (9g, 17a) in 28 games played. Right Wing Dylan Guenther leads the Hockey Club with ten goals on the season. 

Colorado Avalanche 

Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen each had five points in Colorado’s 6-2 victory over Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
