Utah had their three game win streak snapped on Friday in a 3-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. During their win streak they were averaging 4.33 goals per game while allowing 1.33 goals per game. They are 5-5-1 in January and six points back of the final wild card spot in the Western Conference. 

Ottawa Senators News & Notes:

The Senators snapped a two game losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs yesterday. 11 minutes into the game they snapped a 148 minute goalless streak. With the win they improved to 6-5-2 in January and are averaging 1.85 goals per game (they’ve been shutout five times this month) while allowing an average of 2.46 goals per game.
