Vancouver has lost two straight on the road as they take on the Devils tonight in Newark. The Canucks are 17-13-5 on the road this season and are 5-4-1 in their last ten games. Vancouver is three points behind St. Louis for the second Wild Card spot, so every game moving forward is essentially a must-win if the Canucks want to secure a playoff spot.

The Devils have lost two in a row at home and are 17-13-4 at the Prudential Center this season. New Jersey is 4-6-0 in their last ten games as they try to rebound tonight against the Canucks. This is the second and final meeting between these two teams, with New Jersey taking the first game 6-0 on October 30. The Devils have a +25 goal differential this season.

Quinn Hughes will try to extend his point streak to seven games when the Devils host the Canucks tonight in Newark. Hughes has two goals and five assists during the streak and leads Vancouver in scoring this season with 67 points (16g, 51a) in 56 games. Hughes has 37 points (5g, 32a) in 30 road games for the Canucks.

New Jersey Devils

Nico Hischier has points in six straight games and goals in two straight to help lead the Devils offense. The 6-foot-1 Center has ten points (6g, 4a) in 11 games in March. The Naters, Switzerland native, is third on the Devils in scoring with 56 points (30g, 26a) in 65 games. Hischier leads the Devils in goals (30), it is the second 30+ goal season of his career.
