Vancouver Canucks News & Notes: 

The Canucks snapped a two-game skid with a 3-0 shutout win over the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday. They have now four of their last six and are averaging three goals per game while allowing an average of two goals per game. They are now tied with the Calgary Flames for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference. Filip Chytil has made himself right at home, in his first game with the Canucks he scored a goal and in his second on Tuesday he recorded an assist.

San Jose Sharks News & Notes:

The Sharks dropped their second straight on Tuesday in a 4-3 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. They have now lost eight of their last nine giving up five goals per game in that span while only scoring an average of 2.67 goals per game. Despite the skid, Macklin Celebrini and Tyler Toffoli are on a three-game point streak both have recorded two goals and two assists.
