After scoring seven goals against the league-leading Wild on Thursday, the Oilers will look for revenge against the Golden Knights for their recent low-scoring 1-0 loss in Vegas. They will host the Pacific Division leaders at Rogers Place on Saturday afternoon. This matinée matchup in Alberta will be the third of four meetings this season between the Oilers and Golden Knights, with the Oilers having lost both previous encounters in close games, 4-2 and 1-0. Since being shut out by the Golden Knights, the Oilers have won four consecutive games, including a 7-1 victory over the Wild on Thursday. In that game, Leon Draisaitl scored his league-leading 21st goal and added three assists, marking his fourth straight multi-point game.

Bouchard’s Status:

Head Coach Kris Knoblauch has designated Evan Bouchard as a game-time decision for Saturday’s game. Josh Brown has been recalled from the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors to provide insurance in case Bouchard is unable to play. If Bouchard cannot suit up, it is likely that we will see Emberson and Ekholm on the top defensive pairing.
