The Wild had their three-game winning streak snapped by the Dallas Stars in a 3-0 defeat yesterday. This could be a preview of the first round of the playoffs with Vegas leading the Pacific Division and the Wild holding down the first Wild Card spot. This is the third and final regular-season meeting between these two clubs with the Golden Knights winning both of the previous meetings. Now is the time for the Wild to make a statement before the playoffs begin.

Tomas Hertl has four goals in his last two games, including a hat trick in a 6-3 win over the Red Wings on Saturday. The 6-foot-3 pivot has eight goals and five assists in 11 games this month. In two games against the Wild this season, Hertl has a goal and an assist.

Matt Boldy had his three-game point streak snapped in the Wild’s 3-0 loss to Dallas last night. The Millis, Massachusetts native had two goals and three assists during the streak. The 6-foot-2 winger leads the Wild in scoring with 60 points (23g, 37a) in 71 games.
