The Capitals started off April with a 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins last night. The win snapped a three-game losing streak. Alex Ovechkin scored a goal last night and now needs just four more goals to pass Wayne Gretzky for the most goals all-time. Ryan Leonard also made his debut and finished the game as a plus-one.

Carolina Hurricanes News & Notes:

The Hurricanes picked up their second straight win with a 6-4 victory over the New York Islanders on Sunday. They finished March going 11-3-0 averaging 3.3 goals per game while allowing 2.1 goals per game. Following tonight’s game, they head out on a four-game road trip.
