Jakob Chychrun scored his first goal with the Capitals against Vegas. Jakub Vrana notched his first goal since returning to Washington in that game as well. Tom Wilson has scored a goal in all three games to start the year and Alex Ovechkin has yet to score a goal this season.

New Jersey Devils:

Cotter is off to a hot start with five goals after scoring just seven with Vegas last season. The 24-year-old’s career-high is 13 goals in the 2022-23 season.
