The Oilers won four straight games to advance to the second round after they went down 2-0 to the Los Angeles Kings. The Oilers averaged 4.5 goals per game in the first series while allowing six goals per game. Calvin Pickard, since taking over in the net, is posting a 2.93 goals-against average and a .893 save percentage.

Vegas Golden Knights News & Notes:

The Golden Knights beat the Minnesota Wild in six games to move on to round two. They averaged three goals per game in round one while allowing 3.2 goals per game.  Adin Hill, posted a 2.83 goals-against average and an .880 save percentage in round one.
