St. Louis Blues News & Notes:

The St. Louis Blues are red hot right now as they welcome Winnipeg back for a second game at Enterprise Center.

The Blues are coming off a 7-2 win over the Jets, and they’ll look to build on that tonight. The Blues don’t have any significant changes in their lineup or much going for them other than trying to rally the momentum from game three into game four.

Winnipeg Jets News & Notes:

Winnipeg is looking to bounce back from the game three 7-2 loss and make a statement in game four against the Blues.

The Jets recently got some good news as Gabriel Vilardi is now practicing in a contact jersey after he has not played since March 23rd. He has been taking skates and practicing in a non-contact jersey lately, but his status it’s a matter of when he slots into a game for Winnipeg now.

The same can be said for Rasmus Kupari, who’s also been out for some time now with injury. Kupari has shed his non-contact jersey for a while now and has been skating with Winnipeg. Similar to Vilardi, Kupari will be a game-time decision heading into game four.

Players To Watch:

St. Louis Blues

Jordan Binnington will be looking to have another big game in game four. While he hasn’t had a standout game, the momentum and crowd can push Binnington to perform to the level he and the Blues are looking for him to perform at.

Jordan Kyrou has been a massive factor in the Blues’ success so far. He and his team will be looking to replicate that to mitigate the Jets’ chances at getting a stranglehold on the series.

Pavel Buchnevich was a player that I said must make an impact in this series, and his hat trick in game three proved his value to the Blues in their pursuit of winning this series. Another big performance by Buchnevich could be the thing that swings momentum in favour of the Blues.

Winnipeg Jets

Mark Scheifele had a quiet game three and will be looking to make a splash in game four. I said that the Jets can’t rely on their top guys to constantly score in the playoffs, but Scheifele being a lesser impact is something to watch as the veteran gets ready for game four.

Gabriel Vilardi, being a possibility to return in game four, is a massive boost for the Jets. If he suits up and can make an impact, the Jets will be rolling in game four.

Connor Hellebuyck is one of the players that I’m intrigued by in game four. Letting in six goals against is not an ideal game for any goaltender and it is expected that Connor Hellebuyck will bounce back quicker than most think.
