The Stars were swept by the Red Wings in last season’s Prospect Games. Goalie Ben Kraws was on the team last season for this mini tournament. He stopped 33 of the 37 shots he faced in that game last season.

The Red Wings, swept the last Prospects Games at Traverse City and outscored the Stars 8-3 between the two games. Quite a few familiar names are back again for the Red Wings roster as the games head to Frisco, TX.

Dallas Stars

Emil Hemming was the Stars’ first-round pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. He spent last season in the OHL with the Barrie Colts. In 60 games, he had 48 points on 18 goals and 30 assists. He was a plus-five. In 14 games in International play with Finland, he had eight points on three goals and five assists. 

Detroit Red Wings

Alexandre Doucet finished with four points on three goals and an assist last season in the tournament and was a plus-three. In 64 games last season at Grand Rapids, he finished with 21 points on seven goals and 14 assists and was a minus-one.
