New York Rangers
Brennan Othmann scored one of the three Rangers goals last night. He played in 22 games for the Rangers last season, recording two assists and was a plus-seven. In 27 games in the AHL with the Hartford Wolf Pack, he had 20 points on 12 goals, eight assists, and was a minus-one.
Philadelphia Flyers
Nikita Grebenkin scored the game-winner last night in overtime. Grebenkin played in seven games for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season but failed to register a point and was minus-three. He also combined to play in 50 AHL games between the Toronto Marlies and Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Grebenkin had 28 points on 12 goals, 16 assists, and was a minus-six.
