Penguins Draft Forward Brayden Yager 14th Overall

The Pittsburgh Penguins selected forward Brayden Yager with the 14th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft last night. 

Yager is 5’11” and weighs 170 pounds. He played for the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Western Hockey League last season. He was originally listed 11th among North American skaters in the draft Prospect rankings. 

The Penguins look to add to the selection today, as they have five more draft picks during this draft. The Pens select 90th overall in the third round, 142nd overall in the fifth round, 174th overall in the sixth round.m, and 217th and 223rd overall in the seventh round. 

The draft continues today at 11 AM on ESPN+ and the NHL Network.
