The Pittsburgh Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Bokondji Imama to a one-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $775K.
Imama, 27, spent last season in the Ottawa Senators organization, playing 53 games with the Belleville Senators (AHL), putting up three goals and ten points in that span. Imama also suited up for six games with Ottawa.
Imama has played 15 NHL games in his career for both the Senators and the Arizona Coyotes, scoring one goal. He has also spent seven seasons in the AHL with the Sens, Tuscon Roadrunners, and the Ontario Reign, putting up 29 goals and 72 points in 310 games.
Imama was drafted 180th overall in the sixth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
