In the third period, two breakaways were successful, give the Thunder a 4-0 lead. Engelbert scored, snuffing out Adirondack’s goalie Jeremy Brodeur‘s near shutout. In a final push, former Stingray Kevin O’Neil scored an empty net goal, finishing the game at 5-1.
The Stingrays play again at home, on Friday November 29, against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
