TROIS-RIVIÈRES, QC. – The Trois-Rivières Lions made history Sunday night, clinching their 35th win of the season—the most in franchise history—with a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory against the Adirondack Thunder.

The Lions struck first, setting the tone early, but Adirondack answered back on the power play to even things up. The game remained tight, with both teams battling hard, and tensions boiled over when Cory Thomas dropped the gloves with Sean Gulka in a heated scrap.

In the end, it was Chris Jandric who played hero at 2:51 burying the game winning goal in overtime to send the crowd into a frenzy and cement a milestone night for the Lions.
