WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Railers faced off against the Adirondack Thunder on Friday evening at the DCU Center in Worcester. The Railers scored two goals in the third period to capture a 4-3 hard fought comeback win after trailing at the end of the first two periods. Adirondack had get goals from Ryan Conroy in the first period, and two goals in the second period from Kevin O’Neil . The Railers opened their scoring in the first period with a goal from Riley Ginnell and a second period goal from Matthew Kopperud.
In the third period, Worcester Railers Mason Klee would tie the game at three goals a-piece at the 12:32 mark. Matt DeMelis would score the eventual game winner for Worcester 29 seconds after Mason Klee’s goal, at the 13:01 mark. Worcester goalie Hugo Ollas had 29 saves on 32 shots, and Adirondack goalie Jeremy Brodeur had 37 saves on 41 shots against Worcester .
