WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Railers hosted the Adirondack Thunder at the DCU Center in Worcester on Friday evening in a critical North Division match-up. The Railers would jump out to a 2-0 lead after one period, and hold onto the lead thru the third period gaining a 4-3 victory. The Railers would lead 4-2 after two periods, with only one goal being scored in the third period coming with 19 seconds left by Adirondack. Worcester would get two goals from newcomer Mark Cheremeta, and one goal from another newcomer Matt Ustaski . Worcester forward Riley Ginnell would score what would be the eventual game winner, coming at 15:17 of the second period. The Adirondack Thunder would get two goals from Josh Filmon, and another from Sean Gulka. In the nets, Worcester goalie Hugo Ollas would pick up the win with 31 saves, against Adirondack’s Colby Muise with 22 saves on 26 Worcester shots.
