WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Railers faced off against the Adirondack Thunder at the DCU Center in Worcester on Sunday afternoon, for their final home game of the regular season. The Adirondack Thunder coming off two back to back losses to the Railers on Friday and Saturday night, would push the game into an overtime period and capture a stunning 3-2 win on a goal from Kishaun Gervais. Worcester would get the game opening goal from Justin Gill in the first period. Adirondack would tie the game in the second period on a goal from Dan Ebrahim. In the third period, Worcester would retake the lead at 2-1 with Ryan Mahshie getting the goal. The Thunder would tie the game at 2-2 on a goal from Josh Filmon at the 8:17 mark, sending the game to overtime where Kishaun Gervais would score the game winner with only three seconds left in the overtime period. Jeremy Brodeur in net for the Thunder had 40 saves on 42 shots, and Worcester goaltender Michael Bullion had 28 saves on 31 shots he faced.
