SAVANNAG, Ga. – On Sunday afternoon, the Savannah Ghost Pirates faced off against the Atlanta Gladiators in a crucial matchup with significant implications for the South Division standings. A win for Savannah would bring them level with Atlanta in the rankings, adding extra intensity to an already high-stakes game.

The Ghost Pirates came out strong in the first period, striking twice to take an early lead. Defenseman Andre Anania opened the scoring with his first ECHL goal, injecting energy into the team. Despite the strong start, the Gladiators controlled much of the third period, applying relentless pressure that eventually forced the game into overtime.
Savannah struggled with puck possession in the extra frame, relying on goaltender Keith Kinkaid to come up with key saves to keep them in the game. Then, in dramatic fashion, Devon Paliani capitalized on a breakaway opportunity, scoring the game-winning goal and securing a crucial 3-2 OT victory for the Ghost Pirates. With the win, Savannah pulled even with Atlanta in the standings, keeping their playoff hopes alive in a tightly contested South Division.
