SAVANNAH, Ga. – On Sunday night, the Savannah Ghost Pirates faced off against the Atlanta Gladiators in a rescheduled game dedicated to Alzheimer’s awareness. Originally slated for January, the matchup had been postponed due to a winter storm and was added back to the calendar after both teams had already completed their regular-season schedules and were eliminated from playoff contention.
Despite the lower stakes, the Ghost Pirates played with noticeably more energy and determination, fueled by a desire to put on a strong performance for their home fans and support a meaningful cause. The final home game of the season delivered some exciting moments for Savannah supporters.
Nick Granowicz led the charge with a goal and an assist, while Keaton Pehrson celebrated a milestone by scoring his first professional goal. Their contributions helped the Ghost Pirates maintain control throughout the game and build a solid lead over the Gladiators.
Savannah secured a 4-2 victory in front of their home crowd, finishing the season in 5th place in the South Division.
