CALGARY, AB – Tuesday evening at the Saddledome, the Bakersfield Condors rolled into town for the first of back-to-back games against the Calgary Wranglers. Bakersfield took a 2-1 victory.
Matt Savoie started the scoring for Bakersfield with his third goal of the season at the 13:18 mark of the first period. The score remained 1-0 for most of the game until Bakersfield scored an empty net goal at 18:57 of the third period, while the Wranglers had their goalie pulled for the extra attacker. Calgary finally got on the board at 19:22 but could not add a game-tying goal before the clock expired, giving Bakersfield the win.
