KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Knoxville Ice Bears delivered a commanding performance Friday night, defeating the Birmingham Bulls 4-1 in the first of their two rebrand nights.

The game began with high-energy, physical play from both teams, but it was Dalton Skelly who broke the deadlock late in the first period, scoring a power-play goal to give the Ice Bears an early lead.

Building on that momentum, Knoxville struck again in the second period to extend their advantage to 2-0. However, the Bulls found an answer just three minutes later with a power-play goal of their own, cutting the deficit to one.

Knoxville responded swiftly, regaining their two-goal cushion with a quick strike. From there, goaltender Stephen Mundinger took center stage, shutting down the Bulls’ offense for the remainder of the game. Mundinger’s stellar performance ensured the Ice Bears cruised to a 4-1 victory.
